Tendons and Ligaments of the Shoulder from Gray’s Anatomy.
The rotator cuff is one of the most common areas to be injured, be it sports, work or strained physical activities. I have seen many patients with my preceptor who have had issues relating to this complex and delicate area.
The rotator cuff consists of 4 major muscles and the tendons and ligaments that stabilize the shoulder, including the supraspinatus muscle, the infraspinatus muscle, the subscapularis muscle, and the teres minor muscle.
